A friend emailed me the link to the Vancouver's 1st Annual Taiwanese Film Festival and I thought to share the information with all my fellow blogger.
As you guys may have known, Vancouver has a Vancouver International Film Festival & Asian Film Festival every year. But, not a film festival that is dedicated purely to promoting Taiwanese Films.
But, now the dream has come true to its creators...
Among the list of films being introduced this year, there's one that is worthy of special acknowledgement.
'Do Over' directed by Cheng Yu-Chieh, was recognized at this year's San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (March 15th ~ March 25th, 2007). I believe the film is worthy of great audiences.

Please come and support TWFF.

OH MY FREAKING GOD... THE SOUNDTRACK IS BY LIM GIONG?!?!?!?!?!
I am so there.
I grew up listening to Lim Giong... and then he disappeared off the face of the earth for a decade and a half!
Did you ever listen to him? He really captured that angsty, underground politically restless zeitgeist of late 1980s, early 1990s Taiwan.
*acts like a fangirl*
Crazy girl...
I still don't know where the festival takes place. Where in UBC?
The website needs to update on this information... ><'
